Chrissie Wellington Supports the Cadence Cycling Foundation
Cadence Cycling Foundation youth and friends spent a fun, entertaining evening with 4 time Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington. Chrissie spent the evening speaking and signing autographs at Cadence Cycling and Multisport Center to support the Cadence Cycling Foundation. She shared her love of the sport and even gave up some secret training tips!
Chrissie is the current Ironman Triathlon World Champion and a multiple world record holder in Ironman distance triathlon, smashing numerous time records during her career. She is also a true "citizen of the world" supporting numerous causes that are important to her in all corners of the globe. We're excited that Chrissie joined us to support The Cadence Cycling Foundation. It was motivating and inspiring for CCF youth at the event to interact with such an amazing woman.

The Cadence Cycling Foundation is moving into our very first home. Our office will be located in Bryn Mawr, PA. A big thanks to Board Member Paul Aschkenasky for providing us with this space.

Exciting Changes Happening at Cadence Cycling Foundation
Cadence Cycling Foundation (CCF) would like to welcome Doven B. Collins as its new Executive Director. Doven brings eighteen years of fundraising and nonprofit management experience to CCF. Previously, she served as a Senior Consultant for Schultz & Williams, which is a company dedicated to providing nonprofit organizations with fundraising, management, and marketing services. While at Schultz & Williams, Doven worked on projects for the Boys & Girls Club of Philadelphia, Arch Street Methodist Church, The Wetlands Institute, and Coriell Institute for Medical Research. Doven also served as the Executive Director for Friends of Independence National Historical Park, Development Director for Philabundance, and the MS Walk Manager for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Greater Delaware Valley Chapter.
Ryan Oelkers has a new title – Senior Director of Operations and Co-founder. In this role, Ryan’s efforts can focus on the continued growth of Cadence Cycling Foundation’s programs and services. This year, Ryan plans to identify and develop a plan to add nutrition education and broaden educational opportunities. CCF’s kids were thrilled when they learned of Ryan’s new title! He serves as a positive role model for many of our kids, and they cherish the coaching they receive from him on and off the bike.

Delaware Youth are Introduced to Cycling with the Help of AstraZeneca and TBB
Thanks to the generosity of corporate supporter AstraZeneca, CCF is excited to announce the start of our second team in the state of Delaware at the H. Fletcher Brown Boys & Girls Club. CCF currently has a team at Mount Pleasant High School in Delaware.
The Bicycling Boutique (TBB) in Wilmington Delaware has helped CCF get off the ground in our newest state. TBB has built all of our new gear bikes and is helping provide mechanical support for Delaware CCF teams. Thanks TBB! TBB is located in The Nemours Building, 1002 North Orange Street Wilmington, Delaware.
